Watching Snow On Sunday Selfies On A Cold January Sunday

Its Sunday again, and that means time to do a selfie!
I am going to be bored today and it seems a few more days, too...we had quite a bit of snow, but most of it was gone after some warmer weather and rain even, but today its cold at 12F and the snow machine has started its engines again, we might have 6 inches...nope not fun fur me, I do not care fur it...though I know some pups do love it...
So I watch from my staircase seat, and wonder when will spring arrive so I can enjoy my nice soft warm grass?

OK, here I am and then I will go and do a quick business run outside, come back in and snooze the day away...no wait...I will have to bark once in  a while at the kitties, and the neighbors outside, and maybe when my pawrents come back inside from snow cleanup duties, BOL!! Our squirrel dudes are hibernating it seems, have not seen any yesterday or today...boring.....
Soon all my grass will be covered in a white blanket...sigh...

I am joined up to the Sunday Selfie Blog Hop, Hosted by The Cat On My Head

  1. We don't think we would like snow. We don't even like it when we have a hard frost and Mommy says that is sort of like snow as it is wet to our paws and cold.

Snow *is* wet and cold...hard frosted ground doesn't bother me too much though, cause I can still run over it:)

    1. If I go fur a walk in this kind of weather I wear three coats...a thin sweater, covered by a fleecy jacket, covered by a windbreaker style coat...and I hate them all! I do not know why the peeps like their coats so much, BOL!

    1. Well, I don't know what the beach looks like but the lake is not frozen over cause it has not been cold enough for long enough, so now any time the winds are high we get lake effect snow streamers/showers. Some places closer to the lake can really get dumped on. At any rate I would think those beaches around here are looking rather desolate right now, Brrr!

  12. I know how bored it can be looking out at the white stuff ~ yep it is the same here white and cold. Cold enough to freeze the b**** off a brass monkey. Maybe that is why those squirrels are hiding they want to keep their b****. Did you know the brass triangles that supported stacks of iron cannon-balls on sailing ships were called monkeys and that in cold weather the metal contracted, causing the balls to fall off ships. So in conclusion I didn't say anything wrong.

  16. Mr Jack Freckles I would love to live in a 1907 farm house. Why I bet there are treasures in the walls or behind a mantel. I live in a little box on the hillside,
Little boxes made of ticky tacky,
Yep a mini house made at the close of World War II we want to move but no one wants to buy.
You had a 1948 piece of history in that porcelain commode why think of all the flushes it has done.
    Thanks for being a friend

    1. Nope,, we haven't found treasures in the walls...and we do not have a fireplace...no mantel either...its a real simple simon house, BOL! But...when we used to have an ancient converted coal to gas furnace...a gravity driven heat generating monster...we changed that to a modern regular forced air gas furnace. Then we found some old coins in the ductwork, OMD!! Still made out of silver they were that old:)

      But no real value...sigh...

Imagine all the various bums who sat upon our old throne, OMD! We were reluctant to change it out until it really conked out cause it was a good flusher as compared to some of the more modern wishy-washy ones, BOL!

      Woofs!
